I looked long and hard and found that i didn t like any one iteration of the project so i did my own thing.

Having got fed up of hand soldering smt components and being unable to afford assembly at a c e m i thought i would have a go at a toaster oven conversion. Yet another toaster reflow oven conversion. X toaster is a controller board designed to convert any common toaster oven into an smt reflow oven. I call it toast r reflow reflow.

It has a touch screen graphical display. Everybody and their brother has converted a toaster oven into a surface mount soldering reflow oven. To solve this problem i decided to hack a toaster oven t. There are many such conversions on the web and most have their own design of external temperature controller.

The entire tray can be filled with pcb s and all will reflow perfectly. The reflow oven build described here is fully capable of fine pitch lead free soldering at very high temperatures and can do it consistently and reliably. It uses controleo3 a 6 relay programmable reflow oven controller. As i get more serious into my electronics hobby i need to work with more smd components.
